Lakehouse

Lakehouse is situated in East Brent, 5 miles to the west of Axbridge in the charming English countryside of Somerset.

It is a small picture postcard village with beautiful scenery, just north of the Knoll of Brent, which means Beacon Hill; a 450 foot hill that bears the name Battleborough, after a battle in AD875 when the Saxons drove back the Danes.  The small picturesque village comprises a number of beautiful old buildings including the Old Chapel and Ivyclad Hall.

Lakehouse offers extensive accommodation comprising reception hallway, 2 reception rooms, dining room, kitchen, utility, cloakroom, 6 bedrooms, 1 en-suite and a further family bathroom.  Outside private gardens surround the property with an ornamental moat surrounding a small island, a range of outbuildings, carriage driveway with ample parking and a double garage.

This property is currently registered by Ofsted as a small children’s home and can provide accommodation for up to 3 young people.

There are local services and the nearest large town is Weston-super-Mare which provides all social, educational and health facilities required by young people.

The location of this property ensures that young people with high risk behaviours will be accommodated within a safe and progressive environment, whilst also being able to easily access all of the services and facilities they require as their complex needs are reduced and they progress into semi-independent living.
